The Blodgett 52091 oven thermocouple helps monitor the pilot flame in compatible commercial ovens. This 48" thermocouple is a heat-sensing safety component that works by generating a small electrical signal when exposed to the pilot flame. That signal keeps the gas safety valve open during normal operation. If the flame goes out, the signal stops and the valve closes automatically, helping prevent unwanted gas flow. Its dependable sensing function supports safe equipment use, helps maintain steady heating performance, and reduces the risk of gas-related interruptions, making it a practical replacement part for consistent day-to-day operation in busy foodservice environments.
