The Blomberg 268600001 Range Gas Re-Ignitor is used to reignite the gas burner flame when it is interrupted during range operation. This ignition component works with the range’s ignition system to generate the spark required to relight the burner after the flame goes out, supporting continued cooking operation. Proper re-ignition is important for maintaining consistent burner functionality and reducing the need for manual relighting. A worn or faulty re-ignitor may cause ignition problems, delayed burner lighting, or difficulty maintaining normal burner operation. Replacing the component can restore the range’s automatic re-ignition function.
