The Briggs & Stratton 797747 Rewind Starter provides a dependable manual starting system for compatible small engines and outdoor power equipment. This recoil starter uses a pull-cord mechanism to turn the engine over, helping initiate the starting process without an electric starter. Designed for compatible Briggs & Stratton engine applications, it can be used as a replacement when the original starter is worn, damaged, or no longer retracts or engages properly. Replacing a faulty rewind starter can help restore convenient manual starting and support reliable equipment operation during routine maintenance and lawn care.
