The DeWalt 5140206-61 Air Compressor Check Valve is a pressure control component designed to regulate airflow between the compressor pump and the air tank in compatible air compressors. It operates as a one-way valve that allows compressed air to move from the pump into the tank during operation and closes when the pump stops. This action prevents air from flowing back toward the pump and maintains pressure inside the tank. Its threaded design allows proper installation within the compressor system during maintenance or replacement.
