The Frigidaire 134616200 Retainer Boot Spring helps keep the washer door boot securely fastened for reliable sealing during wash cycles. This replacement spring is designed to hold the door boot, also known as the door gasket, firmly in place around the washer opening. It works by applying consistent tension to the retaining ring, helping the boot maintain a proper seal between the door and tub. Replacing a stretched, damaged, or worn retainer spring can help prevent water leaks, maintain correct gasket positioning, and support dependable washer performance. Designed for compatibility with select washers, it contributes to efficient operation and long-lasting door seal stability.
