The Frigidaire 137353302 Lid Lock Switch detects and secures the washing machine lid before certain wash and spin cycles begin. This replacement switch is installed in the washer’s lid-lock assembly and responds when the lid is properly closed, sending a signal to the control system to confirm the locked position. Proper lid detection supports safe cycle control and prevents the washer from running selected cycles when the lid is not securely closed.
