The Frigidaire 139013700 Bake Ignitor ignites the gas burner to produce heat for baking in compatible ranges. This replacement ignitor uses electrical current to heat its igniting element until it reaches the required temperature to ignite gas released from the bake burner. Once the burner lights, the ignitor supports consistent heat generation for baking and oven temperature control. A weak or faulty ignitor may cause delayed ignition, uneven heating, or prevent the bake burner from lighting. Replacing the damaged ignitor restores proper ignition and supports consistent baking performance.
