The Frigidaire 240443391 Refrigerator Glass Pan Cover Insert provides a protective surface over the refrigerator’s storage pan while supporting organized food storage. This insert is designed to fit within the designated compartment, forming a covering between the pan and the space above it. It helps shield stored items from direct contact with the contents of the upper compartment and provides a flat surface for arranging food containers when the refrigerator design permits. Installed in the specified position, the insert supports proper pan placement and makes routine cleaning easier when spills occur. Replacing a cracked or damaged insert can restore proper coverage, improve storage organization, and maintain the intended arrangement of the refrigerator interior.
