The Frigidaire 242220510 Refrigerator Water Tank stores and supplies water within a compatible refrigerator to support its dispensing system. This component holds water before it is delivered through the refrigerator’s connected tubing to the dispenser, depending on the appliance’s design. It works as part of the water supply assembly, maintaining a ready supply for convenient access to drinking water. A properly functioning tank supports normal dispenser operation and provides a suitable place for water storage within the refrigerator. Replacing a cracked, leaking, or damaged tank can address water leakage and restore the intended water supply function.
