The Frigidaire 808643202 Dryer Motor powers the drum and blower system to ensure proper airflow and consistent drying performance. This motor converts electrical energy into mechanical rotation, turning the drum while driving the blower wheel to circulate heated air through the drum and exhaust system. Installed within the dryer cabinet, it connects to the belt assembly and ventilation components to coordinate fabric movement and air distribution. As part of the drying system, it maintains balanced operation and supports efficient moisture removal. Replacing a damaged motor restores steady drum rotation, improves airflow control, and maintains reliable performance during typical drying cycles.
