The Frigidaire A00044305 Drain Pump removes wastewater from the dishwasher to maintain proper drainage during wash cycles. This replacement pump uses an electric motor to move used water from the dishwasher tub through the drain hose and into the household drain system. Proper water removal can prevent standing water and support effective completion of wash cycles. A worn or defective drain pump may cause slow drainage, standing water, unusual noise, or incomplete draining. Replacing the faulty pump can restore proper water removal and improve dishwasher drainage performance.
