The General Electric WB31T10007 Range Burner Grate Grey provides stable support for compatible gas-range cookware while promoting proper burner operation. This replacement burner grate is positioned over the surface burner, creating a secure platform that keeps pots and pans correctly aligned above the flame. It operates by distributing the cookware's weight evenly and maintaining the proper distance between the burner and the cooking vessel to ensure consistent heat transfer. Installed directly onto the cooktop without modifications, it fits into the designated grate supports and integrates with the surrounding burner components. By supporting stable cookware placement and proper heat distribution, this part assists with consistent cooking performance and helps protect the cooktop from unnecessary damage during regular use.
