The General Electric WB31T10105 Range Grate Assembly is a replacement component designed to position pots and pans above the burner while maintaining proper spacing for heat transfer. It works by fitting securely onto the cooktop, supporting cookware throughout the cooking process and maintaining alignment with the burner below. This grate assembly is used when the existing part is damaged or no longer suitable for regular operation. Replacing the grate assembly can support proper cookware positioning, assist in maintaining consistent cooking conditions, and protect the burner area from unnecessary contact while preserving compatibility with the range.
