The General Electric WB62X25972 Range Glass Maintop Assembly offers a smooth, level cooking surface that ensures proper placement of cookware and effective heat transfer. This assembly acts as the main top cover, shielding internal components while allowing radiant or gas heat to reach pots and pans as designed. Mounted on the top section of the appliance, it connects with the burner elements, control panel openings, and mounting brackets to keep everything properly aligned. As part of the range, it provides stable cooking conditions, makes surface cleaning easier, and helps maintain consistent performance during routine cooking tasks.
