The General Electric WD05X32018 Dishwasher Dry Boost Heater & Blower supports the drying stage by producing heat and circulating warm air inside the dishwasher. This assembly combines a heating element and blower to improve moisture removal after the wash and rinse cycles. During operation, the heater raises the air temperature while the blower moves the warmed air through the dishwasher interior, assisting in drying dishes and reducing remaining moisture. Installed within the dishwasher, the assembly works with the appliance’s drying system to provide consistent air circulation and heat during the selected cycle. Replacing a damaged component can restore proper drying operation, improve moisture removal, and support convenient dishwasher use.
