The General Electric WE19M1493 Dryer Control Backsplash Assembly provides the front panel structure surrounding the dryer’s control area. Designed in white, this assembly fits around the operating controls and supports the proper placement of buttons, switches, and related components on the appliance. It functions as the visible section of the control area while helping protect the internal elements behind the panel from routine contact. Installed at the upper front portion of the dryer, the assembly supports proper alignment and access to the controls during operation. Replacing a damaged or worn backsplash can restore the control area’s appearance, fit, and usability. This part is intended for compatible dryer models and should be checked against the appliance model before installation.
