The General Electric WH45X10138 Washer Ring Balance Assembly, a component designed to help control tub movement during wash and spin cycles. This balance ring mounts around the washer tub and uses its internal weight distribution to counteract uneven laundry loads as the tub rotates. By absorbing and redistributing motion, it helps reduce excessive vibration, noise, and shifting during operation. Replacing a damaged or leaking balance ring can correct issues such as shaking or off-balance spinning. The benefit is smoother cycle performance, reduced stress on internal components, and more consistent operation, helping maintain normal washer function over time.
