The General Electric WR29X46729 Refrigerator Ice Bucket & Auger stores and moves ice from the freezer compartment to the dispensing area. This assembly combines an ice storage bucket with an auger mechanism that rotates to move ice forward when the dispenser is activated. As the auger turns, it directs ice toward the outlet, supporting proper dispensing of cubed or crushed ice, depending on the refrigerator’s configuration.
