The General Electric WR55X40445 Refrigerator Stainless Steel T Main Board SxS is an electronic control component that regulates key refrigerator functions in compatible side-by-side models. Installed within the appliance’s control compartment, this main board receives signals from sensors and coordinates the operation of systems such as the compressor, evaporator fan, defrost cycle, and temperature management. It operates by processing input data and sending commands to connected components, supporting proper system performance under normal operating conditions. Replacing a faulty control board can restore accurate operation, improve communication between internal components, and assist in maintaining consistent cooling and overall refrigerator functionality.
