The Alto-Shaam HD-24171 Magnetic Door Latch is a door hardware component used in compatible commercial foodservice equipment. Its magnetic mechanism engages with the mating surface when the door closes, keeping the door positioned against the cabinet or frame. The latch releases when the door is pulled open, allowing normal access to the equipment interior. Installed at the designated door and frame locations, the magnetic latch works with the surrounding mounting hardware to maintain proper alignment during repeated use.
