The Husqvarna 501831503 Clutch Drum is a drive component designed to transmit engine power to the chainsaw chain in compatible Husqvarna models. It functions as part of the centrifugal clutch system, where the clutch shoes expand as engine speed increases and engage the drum. Once engaged, the drum rotates and drives the chain sprocket, allowing the chain to move along the guide bar during cutting. When the engine returns to idle, the clutch disengages and the drum stops driving the chain. Its design allows proper fit within the clutch assembly and straightforward replacement during chainsaw servicing.
