The LG AEQ72909603 Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly restores automatic ice production in compatible LG refrigerator models. This replacement assembly includes the ice mold, motor module, and internal control elements that work together to produce and release ice cubes. It operates by filling the mold with water, freezing it within the freezer compartment, and then cycling to eject the formed cubes into the storage bin. Installed inside the freezer section and connected to the water supply line and electrical harness, it integrates with the unit’s control system. By supporting consistent ice formation and timed harvesting cycles, this component assists in maintaining steady ice output and proper freezer functionality under typical household conditions.
