The LG AGU30012402 Range Main Top Plate Assembly provides a stable cooking surface and restores proper support for surface burners in compatible ranges. This main top plate assembly serves as the upper structural panel that houses and positions the burners while covering internal components beneath. It operates by securely holding the burner bases and grates in alignment, allowing heat to transfer correctly to cookware during operation. Installed on the upper section of the range cabinet using designated mounting points, it integrates with the ignition system and control layout. By maintaining proper burner positioning and shielding internal elements, this component supports consistent heating performance and helps reduce grease exposure and surface damage.
