The LG EAU60783840 Refrigerator Ice Maker and Auger Motor Assembly produces ice and assists with dispensing it into the ice container or dispenser. The ice maker forms ice cubes through the refrigerator’s ice-making system, while the auger motor rotates a screw-shaped mechanism to move ice toward the dispensing outlet. These components work together to support proper ice production and dispensing operation. The assembly is installed within the refrigerator’s ice-making compartment and connects with the related electrical and mechanical parts. Replacing a damaged assembly can restore ice-making or dispensing functions and support consistent operation. This part is designed for compatible refrigerator models, so checking the appliance model before installation helps ensure proper fit and connection.
