The LG MHY62805901 Washer Hinge Spring provides tension to support the proper movement and positioning of a compatible washing machine door or lid hinge assembly. This spring works with the hinge mechanism to assist controlled opening and closing, depending on the washer’s design. It maintains tension within the assembly and supports smooth movement during everyday use. A properly functioning hinge spring contributes to convenient access and stable door or lid operation. Replacing a stretched, damaged, or broken spring can restore the intended hinge movement and address related opening or closing issues.
