The Makita 304014-E Compressor Crankcase Cover encloses and protects the internal crankshaft components of compatible air compressor pumps. This cover mounts to the crankcase housing and forms a sealed barrier around the moving parts inside the pump assembly. It works by keeping internal components enclosed while supporting proper alignment of the crankshaft and related parts during operation. The cover also helps contain lubricating oil within the crankcase area. Replacing a damaged or worn cover restores proper sealing and supports stable compressor pump operation.
