The MTD 631P0083A Discharge Chute Assembly helps direct grass clippings and other lawn debris away from the mower deck on compatible MTD lawn mower applications. This chute assembly attaches to the designated discharge opening, guiding material outward during mowing to help maintain proper debris flow. It is a practical replacement for a cracked, damaged, worn, or missing discharge chute that may affect debris direction or leave the discharge area improperly covered. Replacing the assembly can help restore proper discharge routing and maintain normal mower deck operation during routine maintenance and repair. It provides a suitable replacement when the original chute assembly is no longer serviceable.
