The MTD 951-12612A Primary Carburetor Assembly helps deliver the proper air and fuel mixture to compatible MTD engines for normal combustion and operation. This carburetor assembly meters fuel and combines it with incoming air before the mixture enters the engine, supporting consistent fuel delivery and engine performance. It is a practical replacement for a clogged, damaged, worn, or faulty carburetor that may cause starting difficulties, uneven running, or poor engine response. Replacing the assembly can help restore proper air and fuel flow and support dependable engine operation during routine maintenance and repair. It provides a suitable replacement when the original carburetor is no longer serviceable.
