The Murray 690838 Engine Muffler helps reduce engine exhaust noise during operation on compatible outdoor power equipment. It attaches to the engine’s exhaust system and directs exhaust gases away while helping control the sound produced by combustion. Designed for compatible Murray equipment, this replacement muffler can be used when the original component is worn, damaged, corroded, or no longer performing properly. Replacing a faulty muffler helps maintain the exhaust system’s intended function and supports quieter equipment operation during routine lawn care and maintenance. Proper fitment is important to ensure compatibility with the specific engine model.
