The Murray 709336 Lawn Mower Discharge Deflector is a component designed to control the direction of grass clippings in compatible lawn mowers. It works by attaching to the discharge opening and guiding clippings downward as the blade rotates. This controlled flow reduces direct outward discharge during mowing. Its hinged design allows movement with ground contact, and it fits onto the mower deck for straightforward installation or replacement during maintenance.
