The Packard EMI30ER1 Embraco 1/12 Horsepower Compressor R12 is used to circulate refrigerant through compatible refrigeration systems for maintaining proper cooling performance. This hermetic compressor uses an electric motor to compress the R12 refrigerant, increasing its pressure and temperature before sending it through the refrigeration cycle. As the refrigerant moves through the condenser, expansion device, and evaporator, heat is removed from the refrigerated space, allowing the system to maintain the required temperature. A properly operating compressor is important for consistent cooling and reliable refrigeration performance. Replacing a worn or failed compressor can restore refrigerant circulation and normal cooling operation.
