Pragjyotishpur University was established with a vision to promote quality education, research, and innovation. Guided by the values of Jñāna (Knowledge), Prajñā (Wisdom), and Satya (Truth), the university follows the principles of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and encourages a multidisciplinary approach to learning.The university began its academic journey on 1 September 2023 with undergraduate programmes for the Academic Session 2023–24. Building on this foundation, Pragjyotishpur University has expanded its academic offerings for the Academic Session 2024–25. Students can now pursue undergraduate Honours and Integrated Master's programmes under various Schools of Academic Excellence, along with Pharmaceutical Sciences courses approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
