The Samsung DA82-02865A Refrigerator Water Filter Case houses and secures the water filter within the refrigerator’s water filtration system. It provides a designated space for the filter and connects with the internal water lines to direct water through the filtration assembly before it reaches the dispenser or ice maker. Installed in the refrigerator’s specified filter compartment, this case supports proper filter positioning and water flow during operation. It also helps protect the filter connection and maintain a secure fit within the system. Replacing a cracked or damaged case can restore proper filter placement, reduce the risk of connection leaks, and support consistent water dispensing. Compatibility should be verified against the refrigerator model before installation.
