The Samsung DA97-01183A Refrigerator Evaporator Fan Assembly circulates cold air through the evaporator area to maintain proper cooling inside the refrigerator. The fan draws air across the evaporator coils and distributes the cooled air through designated compartments, supporting more even temperature control. Its operation contributes to consistent food storage conditions and proper airflow within the appliance. If the existing fan becomes worn or stops operating correctly, cooling performance may decline, and some areas may become warmer than expected. Replacing a faulty assembly can restore normal air circulation and support dependable refrigerator operation.
