The Samsung DG47-00045A Range Heater Sheath-Grill is a replacement protective cover used to shield the grill heating element in compatible cooking ranges. This component surrounds the exposed heating element, forming a barrier that helps regulate heat distribution while protecting the element from direct contact with food residue and grease. It operates by covering the heating element area, allowing heat to pass through the sheath while maintaining separation between the element and the cooking surface. Typically installed inside the grill or broil section of the range, it connects with the existing heater assembly and surrounding brackets. By supporting proper heat circulation and shielding the element from buildup, this part assists in maintaining stable grilling performance and reducing the risk of damage to other internal components.
