The Whirlpool W11476176 Cooktop Glass Main Top restores a smooth and stable cooking surface for compatible Whirlpool cooktops. This replacement glass main top forms the upper cooking area, supporting surface elements while providing a flat, heat-resistant surface for cookware. It operates by securely fitting over the cooktop frame, allowing the heating elements beneath the glass to transfer heat efficiently to pots and pans while protecting the internal components. Installed on the top of the cooktop using the original mounting points, it integrates with the surrounding structure for proper alignment. By maintaining a secure cooking surface and ensuring even heat transfer, this component supports reliable cooking performance and helps preserve the appliance's appearance and functionality.
