The Whirlpool 8186321 Range Grate Pad Kit provides replacement pads to support proper positioning and stability of range grates. This kit includes four pads designed to fit compatible cooking range models. Installed at the designated contact points beneath the grates, the pads cushion the connection between the grates and the cooktop surface, helping reduce direct contact, movement, and surface damage during regular use. They also support proper grate placement while cooking and assist in maintaining the condition of the cooktop. Replacing worn, missing, or damaged pads can improve grate stability and help prevent unnecessary scratches on the cooking surface. Before installation, verify model compatibility to ensure the pads fit the range correctly.
