The Whirlpool W10701697 Vent Grille supports proper airflow around the microwave’s ventilation system while providing a finished exterior appearance. This replacement grille is designed to fit over the designated vent opening on compatible microwave models, allowing air to pass through while covering and protecting the internal ventilation area. Its position supports the appliance’s intended air circulation and keeps the vent opening neatly enclosed. A damaged, cracked, or missing grille can affect the microwave’s appearance and leave the vent area exposed. Replacing it restores the proper exterior fit and maintains the original ventilation layout.
