The Whirlpool W10740455 Microwave Door Latch secures the microwave door during operation to support proper closure. Designed for compatible microwave models, this replacement component engages with the door locking mechanism when the door is closed. It works with the latch assembly to keep the door securely in place and support the microwave’s door safety system. Replacing a worn or damaged latch helps maintain proper door alignment, reliable closure, and normal operation of the appliance.
