The Whirlpool W10780045 suspension rod kit helps support and stabilize the washer tub during wash and spin cycles. The kit uses suspension rods and related components to hold the tub in position while allowing controlled movement as the washer operates. This suspension system helps absorb tub movement and reduce excessive shifting, vibration, and imbalance, particularly during high-speed spinning. Replacing worn, damaged, or broken suspension components can help restore proper tub stability and support smoother washer operation. A properly functioning suspension system can also help reduce unnecessary movement and noise caused by an unstable tub.
