The Whirlpool W10780048 Suspension Rod Kit supports the washer tub and reduces excessive movement during wash and spin cycles. This replacement kit uses suspension rods and related components to hold the tub in position while allowing controlled movement as the washer runs. Proper suspension can reduce excessive vibration, shaking, and tub movement, particularly during high-speed spin cycles. Worn or damaged suspension components may cause loud noise, uneven movement, or excessive vibration. Replacing the kit can restore proper tub support and improve washer stability.
