The Whirlpool W10814036 Cooktop provides a stable surface for cooking and supports proper placement of compatible surface burners. This replacement cooktop fits onto the upper section of the range and aligns with the burner openings and surrounding components. It provides a flat cooking surface for placing cookware while covering and protecting the area beneath the cooktop. A cracked, warped, stained, or damaged cooktop may affect cookware stability, burner-area alignment, or the appearance of the range. Replacing it can restore the cooking surface and proper fit without replacing the entire appliance.
