The Whirlpool W10823707 Range Radiant Surface Element provides heat for cooking on compatible electric ranges. This heating component uses electrical energy to generate radiant heat beneath the cooktop surface, transferring heat to cookware placed over the designated cooking area. It operates with the range’s control system to regulate heating according to the selected temperature setting. The element supports proper cooking operation and provides consistent heat for preparing different dishes. Replacing a damaged surface element can restore the cooktop’s heating function and support normal appliance operation. This part is designed for compatible range models, so checking the appliance model number before installation helps ensure proper fit and connection.
