The Whirlpool W10836692 Upper Agitator creates the necessary movement to circulate clothes and cleaning solution during washer cycles. This replacement agitator section fits onto the compatible washer’s agitator assembly and moves back and forth as the wash mechanism operates. Its fins and directional motion provide the agitation needed to shift garments through the water, allowing detergent and water to reach different areas of the load. A worn or damaged upper agitator may cause weak movement, reduced washing action, or unusual noises during operation. Replacing the component can restore proper agitation and maintain consistent load movement. Designed for compatible washer models, this practical part supports effective fabric circulation and reliable performance during everyday washing cycles.
