The Whirlpool W10836706 Evaporator helps maintain proper cooling by transferring heat from inside the refrigerator to the refrigerant system. Designed as a replacement evaporator, it works as part of the refrigeration cycle to absorb heat from the storage compartment, allowing the refrigerator to produce and maintain cool temperatures. A properly functioning evaporator supports consistent cooling performance and helps protect stored food from unwanted temperature changes.
