The Whirlpool W10837240 Idler Pulley with Bracket supports smooth and consistent drum rotation in compatible dryers. This replacement assembly includes a pulley and mounting bracket that work with the dryer’s drive belt to maintain proper belt tension and alignment during operation. As the motor turns the drum, the idler pulley rotates with the belt while providing the necessary tension for effective power transfer. A worn or damaged pulley may cause squealing, rattling, drum movement issues, or a loose belt. Replacing the assembly can restore proper belt tracking and reduce unnecessary strain on related components.
