The Whirlpool W10856603 Broil Element provides direct heat from the top of the oven cavity for broiling and high-temperature cooking. This replacement heating element is mounted near the upper portion of compatible ovens and converts electrical energy into heat when activated by the oven control system. The generated heat cooks food from above, making it suitable for browning, crisping, melting, and broiling various dishes. A damaged or burned-out element may produce little or no heat, uneven cooking, or visible signs of failure. Replacing the faulty element can restore proper heating performance and maintain consistent broiling results. Designed for compatible oven models, this practical component supports reliable heat generation and everyday cooking operation.
