The Whirlpool W10876537 Drain Pump removes wastewater from the dishwasher to support proper draining after wash and rinse cycles. This replacement pump uses an electric motor and impeller to move water through the dishwasher’s drain hose and toward the household drain system. A properly functioning pump supports efficient water removal and reduces the risk of standing water inside the tub. A worn or defective pump may cause slow draining, residual water, unusual noises, or drainage issues. Replacing the faulty component can restore effective water removal and maintain normal dishwasher performance.
