The Whirlpool W11096161 Range Trim Vent is used to provide proper airflow and a finished appearance around the range’s vent area. This trim vent is installed in the designated vent opening, allowing air to move through the range’s ventilation pathway while covering and protecting the surrounding area. Its placement supports proper vent operation and keeps the appliance exterior neatly finished. A damaged, cracked, loose, or missing trim vent can affect the appearance and may leave the vent area exposed. Replacing the component can restore the proper fit and appearance of the range while maintaining the intended airflow path.
