The Whirlpool W11123246 Range Gas Griddle provides a dedicated flat cooking surface for preparing foods directly over compatible gas burners. This replacement griddle is designed to sit securely on top of the cooking grate area, creating an even surface for cooking items such as pancakes, eggs, sandwiches, and grilled vegetables. It operates by transferring heat from the gas burners across its cooking surface to support consistent temperature distribution during use. Installed on the cooktop without permanent attachment, it can be positioned and removed as needed for cooking or cleaning. By expanding the cooking area and supporting even heat distribution, this component assists with preparing multiple foods efficiently during regular meal preparation.
